Description

Homologous recombination at the endogenous stan locus, such that the final 10 amino acid exon of the PA isoform is placed directly downstream of the third common exon and an EGFP tag has been inserted in frame followed by an SV40 polyA sequence. A single loxP site is present downstream of the EGFP sequence. The splice site needed to make the PB isoform has been destroyed by changing the codon usage.
