Description

Naturally occurring polymorphism; second exon of Nopp140 contains two tandem repeats of the P' pattern. The P' repeat starts at nucleotide 900 of the second exon and is 96bp in length. Each repeat encodes a 31 amino acid peptide sequence, functional codons start with the second nucleotide within the repeat, thus leaving 2 nucleotides at the end of the repeat.
