Description

Nucleotide substitution resulting in a premature termination codon (PTC). This codon is read through; immunostaining of Ir75bC517T antennae with an antibody that recognizes an epitope downstream of the PTC results in a pattern similar to that of controls and electrophysiological recordings of Ir75b-expressing neurons in Ir75bC517T flies shows a robust response when the neurons are presented with known agonists.
