    Description

    An A-to-T single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) in the first intron of superdeath ( 3R:24966022 , BDGP R5/dm3). ('A' is the major allele, 'T' is the minor allele.) The minor 'T' allele is associated with a small, but significant, increase in superdeath expression in adult females, compared to the major 'A' allele. FlyBase curator comment: this position is an 'A' in the reference genome.
