Description

A genomic enhancer fragment identified in a ChIP-seq experiment as a peak bound early by bcd and late by oc in embryos is fused upstream of the eve basal promoter and the lacZ coding region. All copies of the TGATCC motif in the enhancer fragment have been mutated to TAAGCT.
