    Description

    A 444bp gypsy LTR-like sequence is inserted in the 5'UTR of DCP2. In addition, intergenic AT-rich sequence between DCP2 and the neighbouring dbo gene is expanded compared to controls. The expression of both DCP2 and dbo is reduced.
