      ana1mecB/Df(3R)Exel7357, ana1S34T.Ubi.GFP males have fewer progeny and their spermatids show shorter centrioles than controls.

      Embryos from ana1mecB/Df(3R)Exel7357, ana1S34T.Ubi.GFP mothers show mitotic defects and centrosomal defects (duplicated/clustered centrosomes, centrosomes shared by 2 spindles, spindles poles lacking centrosomes, detached centrosomes). Unlike controls, centrosomes fail to accumulate substantial PCM scaffold.
