Description

9538bp fragment that contains the entire Hmr gene, and portions of the flanking CG2124 and Rab9D genes. An A to T nucleotide substitution has been introduced into the Hmr coding sequence at base 3667; this changes a Gly residue to a premature stop codon, producing a truncated protein that lacks the C-terminal 171 residues of the wild-type protein.
