Description

The B2RT-flanked transcriptional stop cassette that is present upstream of the translation start codon of the endogenous VGlut locus in TI{TI}VGlutB2RT.STOP.smFLAG has been excised, allowing expression of VGlut protein that is tagged at the N-terminal end with a 'spaghetti monster' (sm) FLAG tag (10 copies of the Tag:FLAG epitope in the backbone of a fluorescently inactivated mRuby2).
