A synthetic fragment composed of 4 CATAC (clock-associated transcriptional activation cassette) motifs from the Slob gene region, in which the orientation of the 4xCATAC sequence has been inverted compared to P{Slob-pLUC.4xCATAC}, is fused upstream of a Hsp70 basal promoter followed by pLUC.
