hh cDNA sequence, carrying amino acid substitutions R238A and R239A in the second heparan sulfate-binding site located in the globular domain, has been re-integrated into the attP site in TI{TI}hhKO, allowing expression of the mutant cDNA sequence under the control of endogenous hh regulatory sequences.
