UAS regulatory sequences drive expression of the Cpac\GLWa preproneuropeptide sequence, in which the C-terminal cleavage site of each copy of the mature peptide normally produced from this precursor polypeptide is mutated to KR. This precursor polypeptide can give rise to mature NGPPGLWamide peptides.
