Description

UAS regulatory sequences drive expression of a hybrid sequence that is based on the Mip preproneuropeptide, but with the sequence encoding all five mature peptides (MIP 1-5) replaced with sequence encoding AWNGPPGLWG (this is a chimeric mature peptide containing the NGPPGLWG sequence encoded by the Cpac\GLWa preproneuropeptide sequence, along with an N-terminal W residue as this is conserved in the mature peptides encoded by Mip and may provide stability).
