Description

UAS regulatory sequences drive expression of a CsChrimson ::tdTomato fusion protein. A putative dendritic targeting motif (QSQPILNTKEMAPQSKPPEELEMSSMPSPVAPLPARTEGVIDMRSMSSIDSFISCATDFPEATRF-GSGSGSGSGS-AESPADGEVFAIQLTSS) corresponding to a fusion of the C-terminal domains of a K[[v]]2.1 gene and a telencephalin gene has been added (via a flexible linker) to the C-terminal end of the coding sequence, however, the resulting protein is not targeted to the dendrites.
