A fragment from the upstream enhancer region of Scr, in which all of the three putative Dll protein binding sites and both of the two putative homeodomain binding sites in the fragment have been mutated, and a 1.2kb Scr promoter fragment (that includes a promoter-proximal tethering element) are fused upstream of GFP.
