The endogenous me31B locus has been mutated so that it encodes only amino acids 1-276 of the wild-type me31B protein. A sfGFP tag has been introduced at the C-terminal end of the open reading frame.
Deletion of amino acids 277–459 of me31B (contains the first 276 amino acids of the wild-type protein). In addition, a sfGFP tag has been introduced at the C-terminal end of the open reading frame.
