Description

The native bcd regulatory region drives expression of a protein that is composed of EGFP, the bcd homeodomain (flanked on each side by a GS6 linker), and a Tag:NLS(SV40-largeT) signal. bcd 5' and 3' UTRs are present. bcd coding sequence is also present downstream of the Tag:NLS(SV40-largeT) signal, but the STOP codon that follows Tag:NLS(SV40-largeT) is designed prevent translation of this downstream bcd coding sequence.
