Description

The genomic region of kni that is deleted in TI{TI}kni2xattP (approximately 8.9kb) has been re-integrated into the genome (by replacing the inverted attP site flanked RMCE cassette in TI{TI}kni2xattP). The re-integrated sequence has 24 copies of the Tag:MS2 stem loop inserted into the second intron. In addition, the promoter-proximal tethering element (coordinates 3L:20695490..20696331 ) has been replaced by a corresponding micro-C map and the shared kni/knrl anterior stripe enhancer has been inserted upstream of the replaced sequence.
