UAS sequences regulate expression of "δCKAR", a genetically encoded FRET-based sensor of PKCδ activity. δCKAR consists of two fluorescent proteins (monomeric CFP and monomeric YFP) that are separated by sequence encoding a phospho-binding domain (forkhead associated domain 2 (FHA2) from the Saccharomyces cerevisiae RAD53 gene) and a PKCδ-selective phosphorylation sequence (details from PMID:20959447). The coding sequence is tagged with a mitochondrial targeting signal.
