Expression of Fas3^VDRC.cUa under the control of Scer\GAL4^ptc-NP3253 leads to shallowing and opening of the apical region of the proximal and medial epithelial folds within the presumptive dorsal hinge region of late third instar wing discs.

Expression of Fas3^VDRC.cUa under the control of Scer\GAL4^zfh2-MS209 leads to shallowing and opening of the apical region of the medial epithelial fold within the presumptive dorsal hinge region of late third instar wing discs.
