Description

UAS sequences regulate expression of 75 repeats of the QAGR tetrapeptide. The coding sequence is tagged at the C-terminal end with Tag:HA. The QAGR tetrapeptide is produced by non-AUG (RAN) translation of the expanded CCTG repeat that is found in the human CNBP gene in myotonic dystrophy type 2; in this transgene each QAGR tetrapeptide is encoded by the nucleotide sequence CAGGCTGGACGT, a codon-optimized sequence.
