| Definition |
Compound external sense organ of the late embryo or larva that is located in the lower lip of the external opening of the atrium (Campos-Ortega and Hartenstein, 1997; Richter et al., 2024). It consists of 3 sensilla, one with 3 neurons and the others with one each (Campos-Ortega and Hartenstein, 1997).
