Definition

Three rows of sensilla proximally located on the anterior wing margin. The boundary between the triple row and the double row is a short distance distal of the point where the second longitudinal vein merges with the wing margin.[ FlyBase:FBrf0032909 FlyBase:FBrf0049554 ]

Comment

The pattern of adult sensilla on the anterior wing margin is graphically depicted in figure 2A of Hartenstein and Posakony (1989).
