General Information
Term adult olfactory receptor neuron Or59b ID (Ontology) FBbt:00067003 (Fly Anatomy)
Definition Adult olfactory receptor neuron (ORN) that expresses Or59b (Benton et al., 2025). Its dendrite transduces signals from antennal basiconic sensillum ab2 and it responds to acetates and ketones (Benton et al., 2025). Its axon innervates antennal lobe glomerulus DM4, bilaterally (Benton et al., 2025). It develops from an Nba precursor (Benton et al., 2025).
