Definition Chordotonal organ of the adult mesothoracic femur. There are three chordotonal organs, located in the ventral chamber near the longitudinal septum. There is one large group, on the ventrolateral side, and two smaller ones in the center of the femur.[ FlyBase:FBrf0056378 ]
