Term adult antennal lobe local neuron lLN2 ID (Ontology) FBbt:00007396 (Fly Anatomy)
Definition Local interneuron of the adult antennal lobe that belongs to the lateral antennal lobe neuroblast (ALl1) Notch OFF hemilineage (Schlegel et al., 2021). It targets a relatively large number of glomeruli, but there are several subtypes with different arborization patterns (Tanaka et al., 2021; Scheffer et al., 2020; Schlegel et al., 2021). It contributes to a larger portion of each glomerulus than an lLN1 cell (Tanaka et al., 2012).
