Definition Glial cell of the adult that is associated with the cell body rind of the central brain. One cell can wrap around 20 to 100 cell bodies, but some cell bodies are wrapped by two neighboring glial cells (Kremer et al., 2017). They have an overall globular shape with fine lamellae protruding into surrounding areas (Kremer et al., 2017).[ FlyBase:FBrf0234767 ]
