Description
Description
The Ionotropic Receptors (IR) gene family contains a number of pseudogenes (encode only short gene fragments, contain frameshift mutations and/or premature stop codons). (Adapted from FBrf0211681).
Notes on Group

FBrf0211681 (and corresponding supplementary information, FBrf0219605) lists Ir10a, Ir67a and Ir60e as pseudogenes (citing genome version 4.55). This disparity probably arises from polymorphic variants.
