Description
Drosomycin gene family encode secreted anti-fungal peptides unique to Drosophila. These paralogs are clustered on the 3L chromosome arm. (Adapted from FBrf0205847 and FBrf0205847).
Notes on Group

When bacterial expressed recombinant drosomycins were tested against a panel of fungal strains, only Drsl6 did not display antifungal activity (FBrf0193399).
