Description
Description
Solute carrier family 13 (SLC13) transmembrane transporters mediate the flux of dicarboxylate and citrate across the plasma membrane. These proteins are responsible for the transport of di- and tricarboxylic acid Krebs cycle intermediates such as succinate, citrate, and alpha-ketoglutarate. (Adapted from FBrf0156036 and FBrf0132448).
