Description

CH-OH group oxidoreductases include dehydrogenases that act on primary alcohols, secondary alcohols and hemiacetals. They catalyze an oxidation-reduction reaction in which a CH-OH group act as a hydrogen or electron donor and reduces a hydrogen or electron acceptor.
