Description
Description
The Acyl-CoA binding domain-containing proteins constitute a family of proteins with a conserved acyl-CoA binding motif, many of which can bind acyl-CoA esters or other lipids. They are involved in diverse cellular tasks including intracellular acyl-CoA transport, modulation of fatty acid biosynthesis and tethering of peroxisomes to the ER.
