Description
Description
Non-canonical serine and arginine rich splicing factors are involved in the regulation of splicing. They contain an RS domain but lack the RNA-binding motifs that typify their canonical counterparts. They are recruited to pre-RNA by interacting with proteins bound to exonic sequences rather than directly binding RNA. (Adapted from FBrf0243536.)
