Mannosyl-glycoprotein N-acetylglucosaminyltransferases catalyze the addition of N-acetylglucosamine (GlcNAc) to mannose residues of N-linked glycans during protein N-glycosylation. As such, they are involved in the regulation of the biosynthesis and biological function of glycoproteins.
