The cGAS-like receptors are innate immune pattern recognition receptors in Drosophila. These proteins are close structural homologs of human cyclic GMP-AMP (cGAS), and detect divergent pathogen-associated molecular patterns, and control antiviral immunity through synthesis of nucleotide second messenger signals.
