Description
The presequence translocase-associated motor (PAM) is a subcomplex of the TIM23 MOTOR (or TIM23 PAM) complex. The PAM complex associates with the TIM23 mitochondrial inner membrane translocase at the matrix face and uses ATP hydrolysis to drive translocation of precursor proteins into the matrix.
