Description
Description
The mitochondrial contact site and cristae organizing system (MICOS) is a large hetero-oligomeric complex inner mitochondrial membrane complex that is involved in the structural maintenance of the inner membrane and cristae formation. (Adapted from FBrf0258588.)
Notes on Group

CG43327, CG14929, CG15296, CG43328 share similarity with MICOS complex subunit Mic13 (QIL1). All four display testis-bias expression so may be testis-specific paralogs, but there is insufficient evidence to support their inclusion in the MITOCHONDRIAL CONTACT SITE AND CRISTAE ORGANIZING SYSTEM SUBUNITS gene group.
