The prenyl diphosphate synthase complex is a heterotetrameric complex located in the mitochondrial inner membrane that possesses polyprenyl diphosphate synthase activity. It is responsible for elongating the isoprenoid chain of ubiquinone (coenzyme Q). (Adapted from PMID:20889762.)
