Description
The Cytosolic 4Fe-4S Assembly Scaffold Complex is the first complex of the iron-sulfur cluster (ISC) assembly system. It scaffolds the reductive assembly of 4Fe-4S clusters from mitochondrially-derived 2Fe-2S clusters in the cytosol. The complex has weak ATPase activity.
