Notes on Group

The TIM9A-TIM10-TIM9B COMPLEX has been inferred based on the human TIM9-TIM10-TIM10B complex (PMID:14726512). The subunit nomenclature differs in D.mel:Tim10 is the ortholog of human TIMM10; Tim9a of TIMM9 and Tim9b of TIMM10b (FBrf0258495). It has been suggested that it is functionally similar to the yeast TIM9-TIM10-TIM12 complex (PMID:33974880) or may be part of a higher order structure (PMID:14726512).
