This report describes Leigh syndrome, MT-ND2-related, one of several diseases associated with the human mitochondrially-encoded gene MT-ND2. See the human disease model report for mitochondrial complex I deficiency, MT-ND2-related (FBhh0000382) for information on experimental results using Drosophila models of this and related diseases. See MIM:516001 for variants of MT-ND2 associated with Leigh syndrome.
