This project comprises several collections of cDNA-based expression plasmids designed to facilitate proteomics-based investigations. The project includes two universal donor clone collection for construction of expression constructs: the BDGP_ExpressR-NS_ORF_Collection and the BDGP_ExpressR-O_ORF_Collection. These are untagged progenitor collections have been used to generate the datasets with specific promoters and tags; both of these collections incorporate cDNAs from the BDGP Gold Collection (https://www.fruitfly.org/EST/gold_collection.shtml). Of the tagged collections, 2 are designed for use in cell culture, making use of a metallothionein-inducible promoter. There are 5 collections that incorporate a UAS promoter and are designed for introduction into flies via the PhiC31 integrase system.
