New mutation in Drosophila simulans. I have found a new mutation in Drosophila simulans which is identical in phenotype and gene (as determined by crossing) to the glass mutation of Drosophila melanogaster. I call this glass^1 (gl^1) and have sent a copy to the Species Center at Bowling Green. Please add this information to FlyBase. Thank you.
