Hi Rachel,
I am writing in connection with your abstract for the upcoming Washington
DC ADRC:
'The control of cell shape changes during ventral furrow formation.'
You describe 'Accordion', a gene that is new to FlyBase. Do you have a
symbol or a cytological location for Accordion? It is nice if we can keep
as many gene records as possible anchored to the map.

Hi Rachel,
I'm happy to supply the map information we have on Accordion (Aco). By deficiency mapping it's located
in 24F1-4, though nailing it to a known locus in this region has been a
little confusing so far. I'll keep you posted!
