Gene annotation error
Gene CG7697 has incorrect exon/intron structure.
Comments: We have sequenced this gene and a full-length cDNA \- see Hatton et al
Nucleic Acids Research  28:520-526  and AF170082 for details. We find 6 single
base differences between our genomic sequence and that in AE003723 \- the 4 that
fall in coding are all silent so these are probably strain polymorphisms.
Our analysis shows only one intron and not the two shown in Gadlfy and AE003723.
Our data suggest that the annotation should correspond to:
