Gene CG5887 should be split.
Comments: I have reason to believe that CG5887 should be split, based on
information in the paper:

Figure 5 shows two open reading frames for genes Dallerac et al. call
desat1 and desat2. Both read in the same direction and are separated
by 3.7kb of sequence including what they call a 'Putative desat1
promoter'. Fig 3 shows a protein alignment between the two and these
correspond to the translations of two accessions AJ245747 & AJ271415,
(as stated in the figure legend) representing desat1 and desat2
respectively. Currently both accessions are attributed to CG5887,
Fad.
