Gene CG12108 has incorrect exon/intron structure or translation start site.
Comments: At the donor site of the third exon, near genomic region 8483690,
where the sequence is TCAGGATGT. The T in TGT is currently included in the
intron. If the T in TGT is instead included as exon sequence and the intron
begins with GT, it shifts the reading frame such that the fly amino acid
sequence more closely matches the human palmitoyl-protein thioesterase enzyme
and a previously missing histidine residue of the conserved catalytic triad is
then present in the sequence.
