comments: The distal breakpoint of Df(3R)96B has been wrongly mapped:
\-Analysis of polytene chromosome squashes indicates a chromosomal
deletion between 96A21 and 96B11.
\-Using a local high-density SNP map the borders have been placed between
tok and tld on the proximal side and between CG6031 and CG13646 on the distal
side. As CG6238/slingshot (96B10/B11) is complemented by the deficiency, the
distal breakpoint must be situated somewhere between CG6031 (at 96B8) and Osbp
(96B10).
