Comments: We have sequenced a cDNA (LD12728) for this locus. This has been
submitted to Genbank and the accession number AY195738 has been assigned. This
sequence does confirm the large size of the gene linking the tow halfs \- 5'
and 3' ests. Based on the sequence similarity of this gene to other members
of the kekkon family (kek1, kek2, kek3, and kek4) we have used the name
kekkon5 for this gene.
