Gene or accession: CG2328 No CGI param release--guessing release using get_release Release: 3 Gene annotation error Gene CG2328 has incorrect exon/intron structure or translation start site. Comments: The 5' end of the first exon extends about 2kb past the original release 2 transcription start site. This extension was apparently based on records in GenBank that correspond to promoter/enhancer sequences located \-upstream- of the gene (eve stripe 2 enhancer element). You guys should be able to locate the actual transcription start site from the other GenBank evidence, or just revert back to the release 2 start site. Thanks, ben.
